About

Crusaders is an interdenominational organisation aimed to support, facilitate and encourage Christian youth groups throughout Ireland. The Baptist Church in Carrigaline has run crusader groups for all ages since 1987. Although linked to crusaders the Clubs and their activities are run under the leadership of Carrigaline Baptist Church. The purpose is so that there is always a personal link maintaining accountability and responsibility to those who come.

Our aim is to provide a safe and controlled environment where young children and teens can come and meet together and have fun through a variety of activities. The activities are varied including crafts, football, music and games. Our hope is that each child will find an activity that they can enjoy and be part of. Sometimes, for the older children, the activities are off site and if so, permission is first sought before a child is allowed to go. This might include a BBQ, Bowling or a visit to Leisureplex.

Integral to our times together is learning the big story of the Bible. Rather than a random collection of stories we believe it tells us about God’s plan for the world and equips us, what ever age we are, to live life in God’s world.
This is done through a fun packed programme including stories, quizzes and music and a question/discussion time for the older teens.
