Note: There will be no service at 11am on Sunday 22nd December. Instead we invite folks to join us for our carol service at 5pm


No service at Carrigaline Baptist – Sunday 29th September 2019

There will be no service at Carrigaline Baptist on the 29th September 2019 as we will be gathering together with the other Baptist churches in the region for a joint service.

Location Change – 19th August 2018

On Sunday 19th August 2018, due to works at the Carrigaline Community Centre to replace the roof we will meet at Carrigaline Educate Together National School 

. There is a map showing the location of the school below.

Important – when searching on Google Maps pleasure ensure you search for Carrigaline Educate Together National School at Kilnaglery. The old school address that may come up of Rosemount, Heron’s Wood is incorrect.

We hope to return to the Community Centre after two Sundays, but this will depend on how the work progresses. We will post an update to the website to confirm.

We will meet at the regular time of 11am.

Our Sunday meeting will start at 4.00pm in the afternoon of Sunday 19th February.
This will be followed by a church family tea at 5.30pm.
 
(We do not have use of the hall in the morning as there is the annual road race taking place)

Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia

Dying to KillCarrigaline Baptist have asked pastor and author Dr. Kieran Beville to come and give a talk on the topic of assisted suicide and euthanasia. Kieran has written a book length treatment on the subject entitled  ‘Dying to Kill: A Christian Perspective on Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide’

 

You are very welcome to attend Sunday evening April 24th 2016 in the Carrigaline Community Centre from 7pm-9pm

 

Kieran will examine the current practice in Ireland and in other countries and what we are likely to face in the coming years. He will also discuss what God, through the Bible, has to say about Euthanasia and assisted suicide and what is a Christian response.

 

The format

  • Talk on the subject – 45 minutes.
  • Break for Tea and Coffee – 20 minutes.
  • Question time 30-40 minutes

Feb 21st – Change of Meeting Time

Due to the Community Centre not being available during the morning we are moving our meeting time to 4.00pm on Sunday 21st February 2016.

After the meeting we will enjoy some food and time together at about 5.15pm in the hall. All are welcome to join us for the service and time afterwards.
