Over the Autumn term we will be taking a close look at ‘The Gospel & Community‘. ?How may times have you been encouraged to bring your friends to Church? ?We might like to but we worry, ‘Would the understand the sermon?’, ‘What if they did not know the songs?’. But what if it was God’s intention to bring Church to our friends!
Far from a meeting place you attend once a week the Bible sees Church as a community of people, a network or relationships learning the truth and living out the gospel. ?Church is something you encounter rather than enter and it is through the community of God’s people that others hear, see and experience what the gospel is really all about.
So what would it be like to bring Church to your friends instead of bringing friends to your Church? ?Well join us as together (community) we look at God’s word (Gospel) and discover his plan for the local Church.
As always we will meet for tea/coffee afterwards, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
